Mantyh Lab is working with other university collaborators to create a biorepository for dementia and related research.

Many patients have blood or cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) drawn as part of their clinical evaluation. This project will allow participants to give a small amount of blood, CSF, or tissue that would be stored for potential research use in the future. These samples would be very small in amount and collected at the same time as the already scheduled clinical appointments. Samples collected for the dementia biorepository will assist researchers in discovering the root causes of dementia and developing effective treatments for these devastating conditions.
